Add-ons for Firefox 3: it’s time to burn your Trabant

I have long used the Firefox browser: why drive a Trabant (Internet Explorer) when you can get a Bentley (Firefox) at no charge? Not to mention the fact that IE has security holes you can drive a bus through.

The great news is that all sorts of accessories (add-ons or plugins) are available for your Bentley, and they don’t cost a penny. The NZ Herald has a mentioned some good ones, and another can be found here.

One of the problems with Firefox is that some websites just won’t work with it, forcing you to get the Trabant out of the garage*. The NZ Herald mentions IE Tab, which should allow to finally give your Trabant the fiery death that it deserves. I could never log on to Kiwiblog using Firefox, and Samuel Dennis has had the same problem. I installed IE Tab, and then I was able to log on to Kiwiblog with no problems. Now, where did I put the matches?

*this is not due to a fault with Firefox, rather it’s caused by people who make websites that won’t work with a browser that has a 21% market share.
