Test your reflexes here

Filed under: Uncategorized — Kiwi Polemicist @ 12:52 pm

Unconfirmed reports say that the US Air Force expects their pilots to last two minutes in this test of reflexes. How long can you last? Let’s make it a friendly competition: post your time in a comment, and whoever can last the longest gets enduring fame along with a free lifetime subscription to Kiwi Polemicist.

I only lasted 7 seconds but my reflexes are halfway to totally shot. What’s your excuse?

  1. Best is 15 seconds, but I cannot get consistent scores. Very tricky

    • Workingman: I thought that 15 sec would be hard to beat, but apparently not.

Pk: my nervous system is showing bare wire so it’s way past the retread stage.

  2. Did this test many moons ago – managed to get to about 20+ secs after about 20 minutes

Just did it again after 5 beers and even I managed 12 seconds (after which it speeds up)- I think you need to get a retread on your nervous system.

Also a measure of how good your mouse is – mine is currently bad. Also a measure of wasted youth – I was a champion space invaders player – could last an hour+ for my 10p back 30 years ago. Wish I’d spent as much effort on other skills 🙂

  4. 15.9 for me, 13.9 for the wife.

    Wife’s excuse: Nappy brain!

My excuse: I don’t have 5 hours to practice and get really, really good!

    • Mr Dennis:

Is Nappy Brain the maternal equivalent of Glue Sniffer Brain (i.e. a result of inhaling too many toxic fumes)?

I’ve met nappies capable of killing a horse at ten paces.

Wife’s excuse #2: men have better spatial skills.

  5. I expect it is something like that. Can’t blame things on “baby brain” any more when you aren’t pregnant, so there has to be another excuse.
