Labour is conspicuously absent at the Forum On The Family

The Forum On The Family is bringing together a group of “pro-family, pro-marriage, pro-life” organisations and individuals. All parties that are currently in Parliament have been invited to state their policies for families; Jim Anderton/Progressive won’t be at the Forum, but that may be an issue of manpower (he’s the only member of that party in parliament). Even the Greens, whose Sue Bradford made a good attempt at ruining families by making smacking illegal (see here and here), will be there. I’ll bet they drew straws for the job of stating their Family Wrecking Policy at a pro-family Forum.

I just can’t understand why Labour had a sudden attack of honesty and declined to speak at the Forum.

Thanks to Stan Blanch for another cartoon that gets to the heart of the matter.
