Melamine has been found in soya products from China

The BBC is reporting that the European Union has banned imports of Chinese soya products intended for children after melamine was found in soya bean meal. The BBC hints that this melamine came from pesticides.

Buying food products from China is always a risky proposition, e.g. my friend in Hong Kong says that the Chinese still use human waste as fertiliser. Needless to say, this is a good way of spreading diseases.

In my earlier post I gave the reasons for melamine being added to baby formula and the effects that it has on the babies.
